This policy explains what data is processed when you visit muratdemirci.net, how cookies are used and how you can manage your preferences.
Data controller
This site is owned by Murat Demirci, who is also the data controller.
Data collected
The site has no forms, accounts or comments, so I don't collect details such as your name or e-mail address directly. The data processed is:
- Server logs: The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. To serve it securely, the hosting provider may log your IP address, browser and device details and request time for a limited period.
- Analytics: Only if you consent, Google Analytics 4 collects pages visited, visit duration, referring site, device and browser type and approximate location (country, city). Google Analytics 4 does not log IP addresses.
- Preferences: Your cookie and theme choices are stored only in your browser and never sent to a server.

Analytics cookies are never set before you consent. No advertising or marketing cookies are used.
Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw consent at any time with the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw, Google Analytics cookies are deleted and collection stops. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Service providers and international transfers
Hosting (Firebase Hosting) and analytics (Google Analytics 4) are provided by Google, so data may be processed on servers outside Türkiye. Google's data practices:

Retention
Google Analytics event data is kept for 2 months and then deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited period under the hosting provider's policies.
