KVKK Privacy Notice

Under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the Communiqué on the Obligation to Inform, this notice explains how the personal data of muratdemirci.net visitors is processed. This is a translation; the Turkish version prevails.

Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Murat Demirci, as data controller, as described below.

Personal data processed

Transaction security data: IP address, browser and device details, date and time of access (server logs).
Online identifiers and usage data: cookie IDs, pages visited, session length, referring site and approximate location (only with your explicit consent, via Google Analytics 4).

Purposes of processing

Serving the site securely and reliably and running information security processes,
With your explicit consent, analysing site usage statistically and improving the content,
Meeting legal obligations and requests from competent authorities.

Collection method and legal grounds

Transaction security data is collected automatically by the hosting infrastructure when you visit, and processed on the grounds of legal obligation (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç) and the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).
Analytics data is collected automatically through cookies and processed only on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). Declining does not prevent you from using the site.

Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to Google LLC and its affiliates as hosting and analytics service providers, and to competent public authorities on request. As the provider's servers are located abroad, data may be transferred abroad in line with the procedures in KVKK Article 9.

Retention

Analytics data is kept for 2 months and server logs for the period set in the hosting provider's policies; data is then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights under KVKK Article 11

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to the data controller to:

learn whether your personal data is processed,
request information about the processing if it is,
learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose,
know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate,
request erasure or destruction of your data under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK,
request that correction, erasure or destruction be notified to third parties who received your data,
object to a decision against you that results solely from automated analysis of your data,
claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing of your data.

How to apply

You can send requests about your rights in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature.
