Accessibility Statement

muratdemirci.net is designed to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes how the site conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
Conformance status
This site is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Fully conformant means the content meets the standard without any exceptions.
Measures taken
- Everything works with a keyboard; every page has a "Skip to content" link and a visible, high-contrast focus indicator.
- Pages use a meaningful heading structure, landmarks and correct language attributes.
- Text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, and interface components and the focus indicator at least 3:1; light and dark themes are supported.
- Informative images have text alternatives; decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
- Filter results and preference confirmations are announced to screen readers as status messages.
- Touch targets are at least 24×24 pixels; content reflows at 320 pixels wide and 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Focused elements are never hidden by the sticky header or the cookie banner.
- The operating system's reduced-motion setting is respected.
- Links that open in a new tab are announced to screen readers in advance.
- The site has no forms, time limits, CAPTCHAs or authentication steps.
Technical information
The site relies on HTML, CSS, WAI-ARIA and JavaScript. It is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with the VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA screen readers.
Known limitations
Screenshots in the project archive show websites published years ago, and the text inside them is not provided as text. Each project's details are given as text on the page.
Linked third-party sites (LinkedIn, enGrehber) are outside the scope of this statement.
Assessment approach
This statement is based on a self-assessment: automated testing with axe-core; manual keyboard and screen reader testing; checks at 320 pixels wide, 200% text size and increased text spacing.
